An Introduction to your Kettering Buccleuch Academy (KBA) Sports Centre

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to your friendly local sports centre and staff.

We like to think we are different from ‘ordinary’ leisure centres and hold ourselves up to a different standard – a more professional, personal approach when it comes to our clients’ needs and requests.

The wide range of activities available at the KBA Sports Centre include the following:

The Sports Hall

The fully equipped sports hall can host a variety of activities such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, netball, cricket bowling lanes and indoor football.

The Studio

The interchangeable studio can hold dance lessons, private classes, small tot’s football and we even have semi-pro wrestlers practicing in the studio.

3G Pitch

Kettering Buccleuch Academy Sports Centre is proud to introduce our brand new FIFA quality 3G artificial pitch, officially opened in October 2025.

Our all weather surface is designed for maximum flexibility, offering:

1 x 11v11 full size pitch
1 x 9v9
2 x 7v7
4 x 5x5

These markings allow the pitch to cater for grassroots football, training sessions, league fixtures, recreational bookings and multisport use throughout the year.

Hire Facilities

Kettering Buccleuch Academy are pleased to be in partnership with North Northamptonshire Council and manage the bookings for pitches on Weekley Glebe Road.  

There are 5 adult pitches (11v11) and 3 junior pitches (9x9)
Prices for season 2025/2026 are
£47 for an adult pitch 
And £24 for junior pitches
This includes full use of FA approved changing facilities

Our usual opening times are:-

5.00pm - 10.00pm Monday to Friday

8.30am - 4.30pm Saturday

8.30am - 8.00pm Sunday
